📚 Publishing Guide

Test before publishing, then ship to the stores

AppSpeed lets you build an app, test it on your own phone, and ONLY THEN publish it — no risk. Here's how it all works:

✏️
1. Write a prompt
The AI builds the app instantly
📱
2. Test on your phone
Scan the QR code and see it on a real phone
🚀
3. Publish
When you're happy, ship to Google Play or the App Store

Testing is completely free — you only pay when you decide to publish to a store. Pick a platform below to see the steps.

FAQ

Why .aab and not .apk?

Google has required .aab (Android App Bundle) for the Play Store since 2021. Users still receive an .apk on their phone — Google generates it from your .aab.

How long does the review take?

First release is usually 1–3 days, sometimes up to a week. Updates are faster.

Can I update without a new review?

No — every change goes through review, but updates are usually approved within 1–2 days.

Can I test before paying the $25?

Yes! Testing on your phone is completely free. The QR code works right away. You only pay $25 when you decide to publish to Google Play.
